Hard to redistrict when there is only one district!!

When I tell people I live in Delaware they sometimes ask "what state is that in?"

Delaware is already more populous than South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Vermont and Wyoming, so…

In all seriousness, if Delaware exceeds Rhode Island, and it isn’t far off, there will be a serious conversation to be had.

Delaware has a bit of. reputation for being retirement friendly. That's one reason I moved here. But the building rate needs to slow down. The infrastructure and facilities are not ready for all the growth.

States with one congressional district hold a lot of cards, that states with multiple congressional districts don't.

States with one congressional district find the power is not held whatsoever in the congressional seat, but the two senate seats. The two senate seats are more powerful than gold. When a state has multiple congressional districts, the power of the two senate seats are watered down.

The late AK SEN Ted Stevens said it best" my job is to get the other 49 states to pay AK bills--- and I will vote for any bill that has the lower 49 states pay AK state bills with federal funds".
