China Air show with their new plane

So they are going to initially use foreign supplied engine and avionic, that will make it easy to build. Now the question is will they make the volume and the efficiency that the big boys get once they build their own engine and avionics.

The good thing in their direction is that they don't need to be good right away. China government will force Chinese airline companies to buy hundred of them, good or not.

But with all the western technologies in it, systems, avionics, and engines, it should not be bad, anyway.
It could be heavier than competition and not too user-friendly to maintain, but once again, with the Chinese subsidies, it should be affordable to compensate.

And they will gain experience for future products.

That's the goal, just like how almost every single "ChingBangDingSang" out there is a locally build foreign car, it is a smart way to jump start their own industry despite not making much money.

I don't mind China being an adult country. I really don't have an issue with it. But, the China government must know about the truly LARGE factories making fake IC's, etc. This problem has really grown huge!! I know some of you here know about this problem, I'm not exactly at liberty to discuss.

Yes I heard about it on the news, that some of the chip the distributor got has low quality die in it and some have even no die other than just the plastic package. And on top of the fake labeling of all sorts of stuff. This on top of the low quality capacitors.

That's why the high quality premium brand cost so much, and the cheap stuff cost so little, and nothing really in between like we have in the US that is good value for the money.

With their volume it probably won't be cheap to begin with.
