As true friends, I need your opinion/help. Really need your advice for a serious problem. I have suspected for some time now that the little woman has been cheating. The usual signs; phone rings, if I answer the caller hangs up, going out with the girls a lot. I try to Stay awake to look out for her when she comes home but I usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight, I hid in the shed behind the boat, when she came home she got out of someones car buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on, It was at that moment while crouched behind the boat I noticed a hairline crack In the outboard mounting bracket, Is that something I can weld or do I need to replace it?

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear about that.

You know what they say about boats. You are only happy with them the day you buy them and the day you sell them.

This would be the last thing I would notice if I was crouching behind and watching my wife putting her panties on. I would be devastated to a point that I would not be aware of my surroundings.
The only thing to do would be to confront her and ask her why she was buttoning up and putting panties on. She is at the moment caught being in between a rock and a hard place.

This is not a joke right? I say this because you seem to be more worried about the crack in your boat than the crack your wife is on.

I love my boat, we have been through a lot together, the good times as well as the bad times and she never once thought about leaving me. She can be high maintenance but so is anything else that is pretty!

Do you mind if I sleep with your wife?

I think I can get your mind off your mounting bracket.

It must be a nasty crack if you can see it in the dark.

You'll probably need a whole new mount. Get an unused one. You never know how hard someone may have beat on a used mount. Mounts can last a long time, some even look good over 50 years old. You can rent a mount, but the expense is about the same in the long run and the hassle of renting it for a few hours of fun in the summer, probably isn't worth it, plus you never know what kind of use it saw right before you came into the rental shop.

Good luck - I'd look in the 20-30 year old range, but that's just me.

Think you can fix my mount? If so I see no problem with that.

Ouch! Blasted money-pits.

Agreed, get a new mount. Although you will have to triple-check for compatibility with your existing motor. And source it locally if you can, as who knows what shape something on the Internet will be in.

Yes if your wife tilts the scale over 150 lbs.

Are you calling my boat fat?

Wait, are you referring to his boat or his wife?

True story, or so I'm told. Wife walks into her 3 car garage late at night to find her husband "servicing" the tail pipe of his cherry red corvette, taking the love of a vehicle to a whole new level.

Take solace disturban, at least your "wife" is cheating with flesh and blood.
