Off my 2010 Yaris 1nz with currently 192k with the bulk of its early life using 0w20 Amsoil SS at 15k intervals until around 140k then I started doing 5k intervals on SuperTech 0w20, and recently the High milage flavor.

I did not expect much but I wanted to see after 500miles of approximately 20% fill of HPL 30weight cleaner.

Currently wicking the media after taking these pics. Another ph2840xl went back on and the oil was topped off (about .5 quart) with 50/50 HPL and STHM. I will let this filter run to 195k judging by this.

I'm wondering if what some are seeing in filters (carbon etc.) is really just a function of the dispersant/detergent package holding things in suspension rather than cleaning. A recent post showing a filter after a M1 change showed some carbon as well.

That filter looks like it had a ways to go on this run but I understand wanting to check the progress if any using the EC. But I agree w/ @buster & at 500 miles it was just getting started IMO.
plus i am impatient, lol. I have 4 more of these filters to burn up before switching to premium guard anyways haha

If that were the case then we wouldn't see it taper off over time.
