Looks like someone did the machining using a tape measure instead of a micrometer.

Decided to use the old bracket and pins. Don't want to wait a week to ship back and get another one.

If you install the old pins into the new bracket, do you have the same problem?
Are you sure rubber isolators are not used on the pins? If it doesn't they something is wrong with either the bracket or the pins.

[\The bushing used on the lower pin of Toyota calipers is there to stabilize the floating section so that it does not vibrate. I have never measured the ID of pin bores and OD of pins but would guess there is probably no more than five thousandth difference.
