CD-2 Engine Treatment

Is there a VOA on this stuff? How do we know what's in it. Seems there was some discussion 6 or so months ago on this site (not sure which forum, maybe her or rebates forum), and it looked good for some reason. Maybe would have bought some, but I have tons of SLOB and 75K.

CD2 is part of the Turtle Wax company, and a better question is who doesn't carry it. The stuff is everywhere including most grocery stores. I think SLOB was their best product and wouldn't you know it they discoed it. As for this stuff, I think I'd go with the 75k mile treatment instead, VOA on it was fairly decent. I still would only use it if I was using a cheap dyno oil, which I don't really do anyhow. Go with a high quality oil and leave the CD2 alone would be my non-professional suggestion.

I am looking for CD-2 Engine Shine product. It has got great reviews on many of the detailing forums. Pictorials show it to be a miraculous product.

CD-2 products are everywhere, but the 32 oz stuff mentioned at top I have only seen at Big Lots some time ago.

If you don't want to mess with additives, use a heavily additized oil like Redline or Valvoline VR1 or some of the HDMO (not the newest formulation). Some high mileage oils may be heavily additized in zddp also, like Citgo Ultralife.
