I'm here until I'm gone. It ain't great here, I don't expect it will be any better when I "cross over" as the mediums say.
And if there are family members or old friends on the other side, I'm walking on by and gonna try to find the dogs that have left before me.

My neighbor and I were talking about crossing over one night. She told me every pet you ever owned will be the first ones to greet you.

That would be cool. But we had some cows that were almost pets, used to meet us at the bus stop. Meeting them would be weird, considering we ate them!

You beat me to it. And there is no grand unified theory. This is what happens when people play scientists.



Let me elaborate. I figured the thread would have been shut down by now. I thought that because he was a medium, he could give us all these answers. I was merely looking for the answers that he might have. As to how it pertains to quantum mechanics and where these spirits reside and how you get past the speed of light problem or maybe it's another dimension. And of course maybe they'd spit out the grand unified theory which of course doesn't exist yet. Maybe with Einstein and Hawking working on it, they'd have figured it out by now. Same as finding out where the dead hid the gold. But for some strange reason, they never seem to say that. There are many other possible exploits if it were real, but somehow all you end up with is excuses.

Still doesn't explain consciousness...if for a minute I thought that I was meat robot, waiting for chemical reactions to take me down my pre-determined path, existence would therefore be meaningless and it would be time to clock out.

How does (for example) love of family fit into an emotionless chemical reaction ?

Quantum Mechanics won't work in the afterlife. It's aligned with Physical Physics. Nothing physical can become trans-physical. Not even transverse polarization.

Spirits don't hide. A ghostly encounter may initiate itself as being hidden. Do not confuse spirits with ghosts. Two are completely different. One is generally trapped and the other is not - unless it's cycle remains incomplete / not whole, limiting it / a sort of temporary restriction, such as those given hypothetical free weekend passes to apparition-visit while they slowly cleanse.

The big deal in the afterlife is the ability to communicate and travel via inner self - thus thru telepathy, not to confused with Astral Science, a generated force of the Universe, which again leans on physicality. The afterlife offers you the opportunity to be in a thousand places at one time. When you hear someone say that your departed close friends and relatives are always with you, that's generally true, for the most part. Your departed ones may even jump into your vehicle and join you on your next lengthy trip to a vacation spot. Most want to be with you, as your life unfolds. Especially for special events and when given permission, can keep you out of danger, such as an accident.

Well none of what you said makes any sense. How about some data to back some of it up? How do we know it's not the exact opposite or that it's all false? And you're part of the physical world, and physics describes the interactions with the real world. So how does your interface work?

How come there's no experiments like you talk to a bunch of people in hospice, they write down some info and is put in a sealed envelope. Then you reveal what's in it after they passed. Of course it would be taped, then sealed and handled by a 3rd party so you wouldn't know or have any access to it. A simple experiment that no one who claims they're a medium has ever pulled off.
