My 2013 Jag AWS XF has an electronic locking rear diff. Laguar has Diff oil listes are JLR PSec 4001.1

Equivelent is Castrol BOT 270.

Just had a ZF shop do the trans oil and tray ( its a kit) and asked them to do the Diff and transfer case at the same time They used Full Synthetic 75-90 as their manual indicates

I have had an issue with a electric diff in my 98 jag and was wondering how important or what the diff ( get it) could be?

Man i have gotten so many different answers. Form Jag (one dealer said synthetic 75-90) other dealer said =only theirs (equivalent to Castrol BOT 270)

Where did you see the ford recommendation?

Castrol BOT 270A is an MTF GL4 .
I don't think it's meant for a differential, as suggested .
