Can't seem to de-bug the CEL on the CR-V

I've never seen any carburetor cleaner that isn't safe for O2 sensors.

There are carbureted vehicles out there that have O2 sensors in them...

As far as degrading the cats, I did some experimentation and found that cleaning the throttle body actually improved the catalyst efficiency as reported by an OBD-II scantool that supported manufacturer-specific data.
 
i love the generic responses, espically the "maf sensor cleaning".
let us know when a mef is found on a crv hehehe.


anyways, try removing the 10mm bolts that hole the exhaust manifold shield to the exhaust and look for a crack right down the middle. :P
