I have a radiator hose on my car that has two numbers on it: 062688 and 80K50
I am unable to reference it to a replacement hose.
A conventional search by application yields the wrong hose; the radiator in my car is larger than the application guide - it seems to be a radiator for a larger optional engine - although a hose lookup using that application is not correct either.

FWIW - the engine is a 1970 351W; although the radiator in the car appears to be for a 1970 428, based on the inlet/outlet sizing and location.

For the Cougar, I'm showing NAPA #7375 for the lower and 7344 for the upper if looking up a 428.

If using the 351W, I show 7370 for the lower and 7275 for the upper.

Are you saying that neither of these applications are correct?

yes - I am saying that the 7344 is incorrect (wrong shape, wrong size on one end) and the 7275 is wrong (wrong shape, wrong size on both ends)

upon further examination, the number on the hose appears to be 082688 not 062688
of course, that does not seem to help in an interchange lookup

Best answer so far. I think that a wrong hose gets entered into the system and the competitors just copy the mistake.
I recently had to take a radiator hose into a parts store for a '71 Chev C90 with a Detroit engine. Everybody's book was wrong and the Chevy dealer had long thrown away their replacement data for this model.
