I have to agree, every time I take a plane flight I get sick. I came to the point where I would plan to be sick the first week of my vacation.

Yes, cold lowers immunity, dries nasal passages, forces people to spend time inside with other people with dry, viral-prone nasal passages, etc. It's...the perfect storm? Although, I'd point out, in addition to the high concentrations of people and their germs, airline flights simply play havoc with my sinuses with all the dry, circulated air and the pressure changes.

People worry about airlines, but...hello, Wal-Mart, the supermarket, all those shopping cart handles...What about gasoline pumps? The door to anywhere commercial if it's not self-opening....There are MANY vectors for bacteria and virus in our interconnected, highly mobile, highly urban world. Which is why we are all doomed if there every s a real superbug.
