If viscosity is a concern have your considered a TES 295 fluid such as Delvac?

Did some plowing last night. Transmission worked awesome. Really nice gentle but positive shifts between drive and reverse. Before it used to shift much harder between reverse and drive probably because of those missing check balls and accumulator springs.
We always ran type f in all our built 400's with trans brakes and red alto race clutches and colleen Steele. Zero problems, firm shifts which indicate no slippage
