Don't give hths figures for motorcycle oil. So far out of all the brands I'd consider using; only one lists their HTHS...Amsoil.

Amsoil lists theirs
RL doesn't
Motul doesn't
and just to see if they did...M1 doesn't either.

How do I go about finding out? Or am I just up a creek? Is a UOA the only option. I think I'll do that anyway. I've allways run RL 10w40 in my bikes year round. It's due for an oil change so I thought I'd shop around with some of my new found knowledge. I'm getting no where. I know RL is quality stuff I just wanted to compare it against amsoil and motul.

Castrol seems to be the only company that doesn't make this info readily available.

I'm sorry, you didn't read my post thuroughly. I said motorcycle oil. You linked to car motor oil. So my question stands.

Thank you Pete. Where did you find that? I typically run 40 wt oil from redline. I guess I can call them direct.

From the Amsoil motorcycle oil test paper. The graph for 40-weight varieties is somewhere in there, too:
