Camcorder question.

Hi,

I am debating my self if should buy a refurb HF200 from Circuit City for $400.00 or a new HDR CX110 for $425.00 at Abe's of Maine.

Is refurb worth buying?

help me decide. thnx in advance.

The only thing I don't get refurb is hard drives and motherboards.

a camcorder shouldn't be bad at all.
Usually they're "refurbished" because they're returns with parts missing or there's a scratch, or someone used it and returned it.

In any case, refurb's are a decent bargains at times.

If you were to get your camcorder repaired, it'd cost probably a little less than what a new or refurb would be, and depending on how old it is/commonality.. finding and ordering the part could take a month or so.

When I worked at radio shack for a while, we'd call the place rent-a-shack. with the 30day unconditional no questions asked return policy.. people would rent video camera's, digital camera's, even TV's and VCR's!
