Buying Redline online

I like Summit Racing because it's free shipping with a ~$10 handling fee. Not sure of shipping & handling from Redline direct. Also, prices are a bit cheaper than directly from Redline. For 5w30, it is $8.75/qt from Summit vs. $9.49 from Redline.

I go through this exercise every couple of years as it is what I run exclusively on one of my motorcycles. I have heard that Red Line will not under price their distributors which is probably a good policy. At least I don't have a problem with it.

I bought a case in January from OG Racing (ogracing.com). Some of the shops will provide free shipping with a purchase of $100 or more. So my goal last time was under $100 total cost for a case delivered to my door step ($8.33 qt.). In order to get the free shipping I had to throw in a qt. of Shockproof gear oil to break $100. So I got 12 qts. of oil and one qt. of gear lube for about $110 total cost shipped to my door step.

One of the shops specifically says not free shipping on Red Line products so I "specifically" don't do business with them. They have free shipping for all other products over $100.

Search for Red Line on the web (yahoo, google) and you will find quite a few race shops and dealers that sell it online.

These were the lowest priced dealers I found for total cost to my door step back in January but there are many options and prices/policies change. Happy hunting!!

They advertize an $8.85 flat rate shipping charge (plus 50 cents per quart for Redline Oil) and tend to have the lowest prices. Used to be [censored].com, but became part of racerpartswholesale. Also 10% off if you buy a case of 12 qts Redline, same part number. Sp 8.95 a quart becomes $8.06.

A case, including shipping amounts to $9.30 a quart.

Another option is order it through your local speed shop. They probably charge $9 a quart and with tax will be about the same.

Check out your local racing supply house.
I get mine by the case from Pegasus racing in Brookfield WI.
I pay sales tax......but no shipping.
A case of oil is a heavy item to ship.....so shipping can add up pretty fast.

If you live near Akron OH, you could get it in person at Summit Racing.
