OK, I work in PA in a medium sized dept. PA is one of the most restrictive states as far as what and how the police must/can do.
From what I understand of the Indiana ruling is this. The wife in the house calls for police for either a domestic or an unknown problem. Now the police MUST respond (as we have to, to all calls for service). Police arrive on scene, husband answers door, refuses entry to police, refuses to get wife for police to talk to. They enter, he resists gets tased and arrested. The police did there jobs as they are supposed to as Im sure everyone here can figure what would happen if they had just left and the woman was injured, dead or dying. remember SHE CALLED FOR HELP. next post
