I encountered another problem (maybe).
Everytime/Sometimes I step on the brake, I hear the sound "click" but not to loud.

Can anyone give me any possible reason cause that?

Thank you

It's probably the linkage between the pedal and master cylinder. You'll need to get under the dash and inspect it to find the source.

My rear pads are worn down to below an eighth inch in thickness, and when I first use them and change direction (reverse to forward), I can hear the pads shift in the caliper. It makes a click.

It seems like coming from the front and probably near by the braking paddle itself. Just 1 click each time I step on it. Thank you so much papabear

Could the switch be sticking just enough to click when it operates after the pedal opens up a gap? BAD. That would delay the brake light coming on giving the dolt with the cell phone behind you even less time to notice it. Try working the pedal by hand while watching the switch.

Thank you all... May bring it to dealer again.
papa bear. it is 2005 civic. I am not very technical person, at least not for mechanic stuff. Can you explain what CBDFrontier06 stated to me little bit more..

Looking through the thread again, something may have gotten displaced in the accident and there is play between the push rod and the master cylinder pedal. There is a ''U'' shaped thing pined to the brake pedal. it has a rod threaded into it. When you push the pedal down, the rod pushes against the pedal. It needs just the least bit of play so there isn't any pressure on the piston until you push the pedal. Too much play, and you have excessive pedal travel and could have a click when the rod hits the piston.

Donald. Full stop = shift to Park or just brake till full stop and try to brake again? I will try it tomorrow.
Labman, that was what I worry about if there is some internal damage.

I did the full stop,
brake till full stop: the click still there if I step on the brake after full stop.
Shift to Parking: Hear the sound from the shift/transmission. I don't know if that is normal. because step on the brake to unlock the shift panel.
Thank you so much

And I discovered, the click sound only occur after the car or the brake system warmed up. Took it to dealer, they can't hear the sound because they test is when it is cool.
