Bought this POS at AA today. ---- is the purpose of the pointed adapter? Does the pointed end just wedge in the bleeder valve outlet outlet? Or do you just use the hose around the valve outlet? I think, I'll take it back. Looks like junk.

What the.....I can't make sense of it.
I have a Motive bleeder and love it. However, even after using the 1 man bleeder, I tend to also follow it up with the traditional 2 person method as well just to make sure things are nice and firm.

speed bleeders are just bleeder screws with a check ball and spring. if one fails somehow, you can always replace it. if you're concerned about the screw seizing in the caliper, the site also sells their version of antiseize. i've used these on a few cars for about the last 10 years and never had a problem. i bleed my brakes every year.

I used that AA bleeder last weekend to bleed my brakes. It worked fine. Just jam it in the bleeder valve.

I use this thing that I bought at NAPA. It is simply a piece of hose and a check valve. I prefer it over speed bleeders, because it fits most calipers.
