What is anyones thought on the Bosch oil filter versus the regular Purolator. Experiences? Which is better if either?

Indeed. I like the Bosch's personally - seem to have less paint flaking and the threads are cleaner. Both are made by Purolator - the Bosch is a step up from the regular Purolator - better media and silicon anti drain back valve - close if not identical to the Pure One like Mark indicated.

For my car, the Bosch looked like a Pure One with black paint and a conventional gasket. I liked it. I would not be afraid of using it again. Ford Contour SVT V6.

Not that this matters anything, but I've been using Bosch in everything except Fords, which I use Motorcraft. I like the Bosch filters.

I normally use Pure 1 on my corolla and zx9r. I used a bosch for the first time on my g/f's grandmothers 04 civic, seems like a quality made filter.

Motorcraft 820S on the g/f's explorer.

Bosch or purolator, i would use either one with confidence.
