And more and more will be moving or starting up in those states.

Toyota is a pretty well done thing here replacing the NUMMI plant. They just are finishing up buying all the property and securing the water rights.

Going to be interesting.

Boeing is a tough company to work for. I heard a story where one shop worked lots of forced overtime. After a while, nearly all the workers ended up divorced.

I'm a Boeing employee.....and while I don't 'trust' the company or especially my idiotic union....I don't blame Boeing on this one. Too many strikes and extortions for many, many years.

I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner. Beyond the labor issue (BTW,, have you noticed that the 'right-to-work' states are the dumpiest ones in the country?), here are a couple of good reasons:

- diversified manufacturing base;
- a few more lawmakers in their pockets.

Non "right to work" states tend to be those that had the most heavy industry back in the first half of the 20th century. In these states union membership is mandatory if you become employed at a company that is unionized.

That's just plain ignorant.
