BlueDevil PSF stop leak success

The steering gear on my 1997 Blazer had been leaking for a while and I’ve been dreading the job. I tried the 2 part Bar’s stop leak twice and it did absolutely nothing. Tried this stuff and the leak is nearly gone. We’ll see how long it holds. I’m going on about 1500 miles now.

I waited until it was hardly on the dipstick and topped it off with the stuff. The instructions said to drive it for an hour after adding. I had to drive just under an hour away so it all worked out.

I hate to ask what else is getting “sealed up“ by this mechanic in a can?

Blue Devil is a good brand - have used their products to successfully seal several rear mains and p/s systems. The difference with them is there are not loads of solids that wreak havic on the rest of the system - the fluids are clear and like water yet work.

Whatever seals needed it I suppose. If a seal wasn’t leaking, I doubt those changed.
