Most likely valve guides or seals i dont know what your engine is designed like but any oil up top must come down. Ive seen 150,000$ mercedes have a little blue cloud upon startup. And thats a brand new one. i also think if one seal was worse off than another and depending where the valve stops you would get more or less that day. No big deal but keep an eye out for it getting worse.

Valve seals. I have that on the Camry in my sig below. Good reason to use high mileage oil. Really helps. Also get the internals of the engine cleaned up good so the oil drains away fast and does not pond around the seal.

I didnt even think of that. Good call. I run a hm in my truck but i dont have any high mileage symptoms so i have not seen the hm bennefits in any of my applications. But i do agree it would do more good than harm. Maybe even stop the clouds. if not think of the oil as upper cyl lube!! jk

If you're not planning to change out the seals, it might be worthwhile to start checking your spark plugs annually for deposits. Engine oil doesn't burn off cleanly so they may need manual cleaning. Don't clean platinum or iridium tipped plugs though as cleaning can ruin them.

Probably oil.
But maybe coolant - I did not see or smell it.
If oil, most likely guides/seals.
If coolant, head gasket or cracked head.

a puff of slitely blue smoke is also caused by rich fuel in the am...my brand new raptor did that a couple of times..also on wet days..always happens in the am on first start..in my case happens a couple times a year.the smell is very sweet!! so its not a burning of oil or valve seals or guides.
