I'm almost a month over on when I could have last donated - need to get over there. Thanks for the reminder.
No financial incentives in Canada - they kick you out with a bottle of water and a bag of chips after a short mandatory rest period.
The parking is free though.

I think the demand for blood plasma has gone down in recent months, why i say that is because the amount that they are paying for blood plasma donations has gone down in recent months.

I haven't been able to donate blood since I was exposed to mad cow disease back in the mid-90s.
Can you imagine what is currently charged by the hospitals and billed to patients or insurance companies. I actually seen a figure of $900 for one pint of whole blood (A+) back in 2003.
I donated once this year. Odd fact: The employees at many Red Cross blood donation centers are unionized.
