I've got a 95 Ford F150 with a blinker problem. Blinkers were working fine a few days ago. (No changes made to anything.) Neither left nor right blinker works now. (The green arrow on the dash does not light up and the bulb does not light up.) Both emergency flashers do work. I checked the fuses and they seem to be good. Light bulbs are good since emergency flashers work. Any ideas of what to check? What if I hook up trailer lights and check then?

Blinker fluid full.

Thanks!

Turn on emergency flashers, locate the actual flasher by sound, and feel. Near(usually prety close) is the turnsignal flasher, they are separate. Replace the turn signal one.Usually under $3.00

Is that the round, metal relay in the fuse box? It "clicks" when the emergency flasher are on. It also used to click when the turn signals worked.

Thanks!

1. emerg flasher is often separate part from turn flasher
2. blinker wiring may pass thru hazard switch.
3. at least in GM models, this may also pass through a brake pedal switch.

Had forgotten how easy some are to get to ! Yes, but there should be (2) of them, the other is the TS flasher. If there aren't (2) the TS one is in another location! Good luck locating it if it ain't clicking!

I replaced the falsher in the fuse box and it fixed the problem. The emergency flasher and turn signal flasher are the same on this Ford.

Part cost was $2.59.

Thanks!

Glad you got it fixed for so cheap.

I have a problem with my turn signal as well. My drivers side turn signal flashes exteremely fast when I have the lights on. This started to happen ever since the dealership replaced the bulb but never bothered take it back (rock went right through the turn signal lense and busted the bulb as well). With the lights off it flashes at normal speed. The passenger side is fine. Any ideas? Wrong bulb maybe?

It might very well be a higher amperage bulb. Something is causing a higher current draw, to make the flasher flash faster. (Say that 3 times fast

).
