I was scratching my head until the end on that story! I read it over lunch today, I found it pretty funny!
Sounds like Jim Stark likes to write short stories in his spare time. "smoking like a condemned man" - I'm going to start using that one!
Thats some funny stuff right there.
The VOA at then end of the story is pretty interesting. Sure is an eye opener to the phrase "whatever oil is cheapest!".

Wow. Most UOA's don't look this pathetic. It would be better to use Mazola in the crankcase than this crap.
I wish they would have told us what brand of oil it was.
With the zddp level it must be some of that convenience store API SA oil, not meant for use in modern motor cars.
