I hate spiders....

Snakes... Do bother me at all.

The flame thrower... I believe that would be the far, far best deterrent for wolves, moose or bears. Animals even extremely large animals will run from fire instantly.

The scariest picture I ever have seen was in Sports Illustrated where wolves were following a group of guys back to their camp.... Within about 75 yards of the camp one of them came out and took that picture. The had gotten large sticks to keep them wolves barely at bay. Those wolves had teeth showing and snarling. Being that event happened during winter term and snow everywhere... A nice small flame thrower would have sent those wolves running for the hills.

Crazy part of that story was one of those other guys at that camp left the camp and went for a walk unarmed.... He knew all about that picture and that extremely aggressive wolves encounter. That guy was killed and eaten by those wolves. They only found pieces of his backpack and scraps of his clothes.
I used to have this re-occurring nightmare where I was walking in the middle of a stream in knee-high water and the tree roots extending into the water from the banks would turn into snakes and start swimming after me. I would wake up at the moment I was bitten in the calf and sometimes my calf would actually be cramping.

Looking online, I think that's it! Thanks.

No I didn't kill it.
Glad you let it live.
It's better to educate yourself than to kill it and ask questions later.
There are spiders in my cellar that are harmless and probably even helpful.
Just be careful about moving things in woodpiles, etc.
Gloves are always a good idea.

Here in New Hampshire, "we" handle any and all spiders, by eradicating them. I treated my 2.5ac property for 2nd time this season yesterday with 30 gallons of Talstar P on the lawn and orchard. The initial treatment was mid-May for 60 gallons. Last week I did another 30 gallons on the bushes and shrubs. Also sprayed the foundation, inside the garage, and the basement mid-May. The only spider I have seen since was in the basement, hanging from its own thread, and not moving. Also: none of us have been bitten by a mosquito, chigger or a tick this whole season. No ants in the house either.

Diluted to what ratio!?

I use that exact same stuff to coat the perimeter of the house only. My wife wants me to do the whole yard, but I refuse to.

Yeah I don’t mind them at all. Not a fan of walking into a web though.
Sometimes, a small-ish spider, some kind of light color most the time like clear or red will dangle down from my headliner or sun mirror. I try to open the window so they can make a graceful exit.

Webs take awhile!

I I don’t clean them off our windows, the spiders will cover the windows with webs. Not sure why. Would make it look like a haunted house after a couple years of left alone!
