I clicked this expecting a picture of a spider, and yet a black hole still formed in my nether regions and I immediately noped to the bottom of the page.

Man, do they hide ballots and are nocturnal ?
But it maybe beneficial, eating bugs and insects. Or mice and rats from the size of it.
I'm lucky I just suck them up with the dewalt sweeper from the cabin.. then block the hose with a tissue.. then let them out in the woods next day.. have had some pretty big ones but nothing like that.
This one didnt fit in the vacuum hose.
Carried it off to the woods stuck in the cup with the paper across the bottom.. it jumped out ready to tear a finger off (lol).

I have one little wolf spider near my formulation bench in the basement. I named him "Spaz" because he will come out to check on my progress and then run and hide again. I don't have any bugs or flies or any other living creatures down there. Maybe Spaz is keeping anything else from inhabiting the basement?

Google seems to suggest the front 2 are "palps?" and not legs.. despite looking like legs.
