I finally received my rebate, and decided to try my free BM Titanium Synthetic Liquid Wax last night. About the only wax I've used for the last 3 years is Zymol Cleaner Wax. So, in my use, that's what I compared it to. Here's my assessment:

Positives:

1. It was FREE. $9.88 before rebate.
2. No white residue or dust. Doesn't severely stain trim. Zymol is very dusty, and leaves nasty white residue on trim.
3. Not too bad to rub off.

Negatives:

1. Smell -- smells like Cherry Amaretto. Zymol smells good enough to drink.
2. It's not advertised as a cleaner wax, thus it is not. It will do nothing to minor scratches, small tar - if missed during tar-removal step, etc.
3. It does not shine that well.
4. It doesn't feel smooth after use.

My car is 6 months old, deep red in color.

In conclusion, I would never buy this wax. It may be OK for a looks like you have a protective barrier. BM Titanium did very little in my opinion. I will probably try another new product from my shelf in another month or so...

Second thoughts: Maybe I was a little too harsh. On the second day, it does look/shine nice in the sun. It also feels smooth on the side panels. I should have clayed the top/trunk/hood, but I didn't think it would need it. The sun was down by the time I finished. Maybe the wax had to "set-in" or bake in the sun for awhile?..

I have not used this particular wax but seems some Synthetic waxes need some time to "set up" and the look seems to improve over a 24hour time period. Just my experience.

I don't get what's up with cleaner/wax. How can it do two things that are compeletely different. How can a product both cleanses and at the same time applies wax? I only use 3M cleaner wax(the one that comes in wipes) for emergency spot cleaning such as bird droppings, tar, etc. Or use it on your Yugo.

Yes -- I always manually clean tar, bugs, etc. prior to waxing. But, it's nice to have a wax remove stuff that's missed. If I'm in the middle of waxing, I don't want to stop, and grab the tar remover. I often miss tar due to the shade/lighting in my garage.
