I have not been on the board very much for the last 30 days. I went in the Hospital for sinus and an irregular heartbeat. While in the hospital I had a CT scan and they discovered a mass on my lung and pneumonia. I spent 8 days in the hospital. Upon release I had an outpatient broncospy. The mass is stage III inoperable cancer. Next week I start Chemo and 6weeks of radiation treatment. The radiation is done everyday. Cure rate is approx. 5%.

With that out of the way, on to BITOG. Bitog will remain as you now know it. No changes will be made. If required, my son and wife will run it with the help of the present Admin/Mods. IT IS NOT FOR SALE under any circumstances.

So basically, no matter my condition, things will continue as they have in the past.

All the best to you, what do you say in a situation like this??? good luck, stay stong, beat the stupid thing, we're all rooting for you.

Perhaps the best is that you are in my prayers.

Tony, thanks for sharing.

One of my friends, at 28, is undergoing chemo right now as well. I just don't know what to say... you think you have problems, but when you're faced with the problems of others, suddenly your own problems look like nothing.

I'll keep you in my prayers. Stay strong!

Pete

Tony,
you have my sympathy and prayers for the cr@p news (sorry mods, I think it's appropriate). I sincerely hope that you fight your way through this.

Thanks for the best board on the 'net.

Tony I hope for the best, both for you and your family. From the few brief times we've talked I've come to consider you a friend I've never met.

YOU can beat it.

Start by learning all you can. Don't depend soley on the doctors. They don't know everything.

We will pray for you and it already sounds like you have your head in the right place!

I'm shocked. I'm also running out of paraphrases. My best wishes go out to you and your family, Tony. Never give up.

My prayers are with you. My Mother was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer 6 years ago. It was stage 4 and they gave her 1 year at the most. Well I'm going down to Florida to see her at the end of the month. She beat it so can you, keep your faith.

:jawdrop:

I'm just shocked to hear of this. Tony, you are a great man who runs a great site, and I wish you the best. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask!

We'll keep you in our thoughts, and wish you all the courage and strength you and family need. Never give up hope. People DO win against cancer.
