Better Auto Battery: Duralast or AutoCraft?

Depends how long it has been off charge. A little under 13 volts after it has been sitting for a while.


Just google state of charge chart. A fully charged battery with no load on it that has been sitting for a while at 78 degrees is at about 12.7 volts. Voltage will be higher if the car was just on or lower if the temperature is low.

Also wind chill only refers to what the temperature feels like to bare human skin exposed to the wind. For inanimate objects like a battery, wind chill means nothing, all the wind does is bring the temperature down to the ambient temperature quicker. An inanimate object can not have a temperature lower than the ambient temperature no matter what the wind speed is.
