I typically use silicone spray as weather stripping conditioner to prevent squeaks and sticks although it does see occasional use as a lubricant as well- especially on non-metallic applications. As such I would like something with the least volatile carrier and the highest silicone content. Seems most places guard this type of info pretty good, although some SDS's are better than others.
Currently using Liquid Wrench Silicone spray with acceptable results. Is anybody aware of an objectively better alternative? This one works, so I don't need to experiment based on conjecture or anecdotes but I am all ears for new info!
LW actually has a pretty informative SDS: http://www.rscbrands.com/products/msds/M914.pdf
Among other things, it lists the silicone specs as 4.28% and a 1000cst oil (no temp spec'd).
