Experience must really vary by what winter salt goes down on your roads as my experience has been very different than what I'm reading here. Over the last couple years on our cars I've used Power Stop geomet, Raybestos EHT coated, Centric Semi Coated. Those are all zinc or silver colored Coating. Also Used a Black painted no name (actually I forget the name) once. All were rusted within a year but the black painted held up the best. Personally I am likely going to save my money and go uncoated in the future. They were fine for years so long as you put anti sieze on hub and wheel surfaces.

I disagree, I've received 2 of them badly rusted right out of the box, for either a BMW or MB can't remember which.
I've installed thousands of brake rotors and not even white box rotors have ever looked like that.
