I recently got a new BT speaker. I had a 5 watt speaker before but it fell while charging, and ripped the microUSB cord receptacle off the circuit board.
For my needs I knew that 5 watts sounded good enough, was loud enough.
I wanted a speaker which could fit in my cargo shorts pocket, or tool belt. I can't give a rats rear end about fashion so save your fingertips.
I bought a 'ShackJoy 5W Waterproof Portable Shockproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Shower Suction Mount' on Amazon for 27$
It is not waterproof( IP65), nor shockproof( i will assume) but it sounds pretty good, and is pretty loud. Changing the misic tone settings on my phone can dial in any specific musical genre to good enough.
The BT range is not very impressive, but it connects and stays connected to my phone better than my last BT speaker. I've heard the low battery alarm a few times, but cannot really quantify its true lasting power at full volume, and this would change depending on the amount of bass in the music one is listening to.
Its maximum recharge current acceptance is 0.41 amps. I have not drained it dead and counted how much Mah it required to full charge, yet.
So Best in terms of what, Sound quality, battery life, BT connection range, size per sound, bragging rights on price high or low?
I am satisfied at 27$ for what I got, but would like a bit more range as my last speaker seemed a bit better in this regard.
