Nothing in JD Power or Condemner Reports qualifies as "fact." Sorry.

Chrysler NEEDS a great car line up. The heritage of the brand always was stylish with innovation and driving quality, FIAT has all the potential products to fill this bill ASAP. Forget about all the nay sayers like Neil Cavuto on FOX. If you consider the mid size FIATS and Alfa Romeo products they can put Chrysler back in the car game ASAP. To keep costs down they WILL build them in the USA and some smaller cars in Mexico.

The FIAT car stable is great from the Fantastic little 500 to the Punto and Grande Punto, Alfa 147, Mito, 159 and more.

Bring em on!!!!!!!!

I's definitely go for a 500 Arbath or Punto Arbath.

Keep in mind that any Fiat products making it to the US are going to be several years away. Chrysler has to survive until then with what they currently have on the table.

European cars are not designed with American crash standards in mind. It would be too expensive to federalize Fiat's current lineup so we are talking, at least, the next generation of their lineup. This could even stretch to two generations depending on what stage in the engineering process the next gen. is in.

I wonder if Uncle Sam is going to back the LT Powertrain Warranty for me? LOL, had I known in December 07 what I know now I would have bought another Ford!

Not me! People who pay top dollar for generic front-drive Japanese cars with high mileage should have their heads (and wallets) examined.

Isn't that the very DEFINITION of a Camry? An Accord? A Taurus? A Malibu? Avenger? Altima? There's no American stranglehold on boring practical cars, the Japanese have elevated it to an artform. Camrys and Accords are so godawful non-descript that I can't even *begin* to tell an 05 from an 06, and I can only guess that another one must be about a 1993. Or maybe 1998. And I don't care anyway. FWIW I can *definitely* tell a 2009 Camry apart- its the one with the gigantic LCD display that animates "Welcome to Camry" every time you start it, and is so bright that I can't see the road at night without dimming the dash until all the other instruments are completely dark.

Of course all the 240Zs turned to piles of rust in no time. Even here in Texas, I've never seen anything rust faster than an early Z car. Hornets and Pacers are actually getting collectible. Strange as that may be....

PS- I wouldn't call the Hornet "essentially the same vehicle" as a 240, either. Maybe the AMX but it commands a lot more with collectors than 240Zs do.

Sometimes boring is good.

Frankly, not being able to tell an 05 from an 06 or any other year helps them keep value. They don't look dated, etc. I think my '94 Geo Prizm still looks pretty current.

Sometimes boring is good.
