Backup Heat - Indoor Propane Wall Heater

I have one in my finished basement use it to take the chill out it's always colder than the upstairs. After super storm sandy had no electricity for over two weeks that heater and generator saved my marriage .

Yeah I particularly want one that isn't vented. I grew up with this type heater. What brand is it that you have?
It's certainly legal here as there are no issues with anything except the septic tank, no permits, etc.

They are starting to look at indoor air quality for houses with gas stoves. It's not great when the stove is in use. Suspect unvented gas heaters would be worse.

I have a vented gas fireplace that works without electricity. (No fan without power).

I might go for a second generator to make sure one works.
