Who makes Autozone Duralast drive belts(they also sell Continental) . I heard at one time they were made by Dayco but that was along time ago. I have a gift card to use and was gonna give them a try. Name Brands like Goodyear Gatorback, Gates and Dayco don't seem to be around anymore.

Which are now being phased out to a traditional ribbed "OE Tech" belt.......at least they are for my 2005 Taurus. I was pretty upset when I couldn't find an Elite belt for it. However, the new belt is perfectly quiet on it, so maybe the polycog design is obsolete in favor of new belt material?

Do you have an O'reillys? They carry Gates belts. I bought two belts for two different vehicles, and they had them in stock. Since we have older vehicles, Oreillys is the auto parts store in our area that carries a lot of the parts in stock for them. The Advance stores say "Out of stock" or I need to order the parts. Napa says to contact the store for availability.

Do you have an Advance Auto Parts? They carry Dayco around here.

I wouldn't put their overpriced no-name house brand part on any car unless it was an emergency. Bought this made in USA AC Delco belt for $11.40 online when they wanted $16 for some Chinese made Driveworks brand.

Agree 100%.

I avoid Autozone and Advance Auto at all costs unless it is an emergency. Literally everything they sell is the same garbage you can buy for $10 on ebay but with a huge mark up.
