They are half the price of iridium NGK plugs for my Scion. Any reason not to try them, especially since I plan on pulling the plugs every 20k or so to soak the pistons?
For 20k, even copper will do. Denso U-Groove copper is a good price, and NGK G-Power isn't much more. The OE iridiums are good to at least 100k. A set of Denso iridium TT is $25 from Rock Auto.
The rings were stuck and it was guzzling oil when I bought it. Two piston soaks cured that, so I plan to do it as preventative maintenance to keep it from happening again.
Try them and report back how they do initially and also report back down the road when you have hopefully a lot of miles on them.
It'd be nice to see someone use those plugs and report back instead of everyone giving the herd "use NGK" reply.
