I was telling a buddy about Auto-RX and Lube Control, and he had a question, I didn't know what to tell him.

He wanted to know that after the RX cleaning, if he could run LC during the rinse cycle to help it.

I didn't know, what do you guys think??

Auto- Rx for the cleaning and LC for anti- oxidation benefit.

So yes, running a motor oil post Auto-Rx with LC is fine.

Based on our testing results this works well.

If you are attempting to heal seal leaks with RX the LC addition may interupt that activity.

I would not use more than 2 ounces per qt of LC though.

LC is used to moderate the oxidative stability of the oil. Both by solublizing the entrained trash in the motor oil and unloading the add package to do its job instead of fighting oxidation depletion activity internal to the oil.

RX cleans metal and then disperses the trash to the filter.

I am seeing great results using both products in that order.

LC affects the host oil Auto-RX does NOT.

I have not used both products in tandem and am reluctant to do it as I suspect the harsher solvents in LC will attack the cleaning capabilites of the Auto-RX. NOTE : I have not tested that theory at all.

Would be interesting to see the chemical affects of the two placed together but so far no one has paid me to take a look.
