Looking for a transmission tune.
It would be helpful to know what you're looking at. There's a world of difference between a 4L60 and a 10R80 even though they both use some components that go by the same name. What works for one isn't going to necessarily work for the other. There's also more to it than just raising pressures and calling it good.

Are having a particular problem with your transmission, or are you thinking of modifications for racing?
Realize that as you increase clutch pressure to firm up shifts or accomodate more power, you are also increasing loads on the mechanical parts of the torque path. It's a tradeoff between clutch energy and stress levels.
Its strictly for racing, the transmission shifts great.
So ideally swap fluid on a severe schedule?
Yes, people that race transmissions will generally need to swap fluid much more frequently than the usual user.
Again, what transmission, what racing, what car, etc.
If your trans uses a Dexron type fluid, I'd recommend something that meets Allison TES-295.
