ATF fluid pressure and performance

If anyone has information on how increased or decreased oil pressure inside a modern transmission works please share
 
It would be helpful to know what you're looking at. There's a world of difference between a 4L60 and a 10R80 even though they both use some components that go by the same name. What works for one isn't going to necessarily work for the other. There's also more to it than just raising pressures and calling it good.
 
Realize that as you increase clutch pressure to firm up shifts or accomodate more power, you are also increasing loads on the mechanical parts of the torque path. It's a tradeoff between clutch energy and stress levels.

So ideally swap fluid on a severe schedule?
