Good thing this was caught. I mean, there could have been confusion with all those other blue fluids.

What about washer fluid? Most washer fluid I have seen is blue.

Man here all along, I thought I was leaking windshield washer fluid.

Lot of pointy headed, overpaid, underworked bureaucrats with too much meddling time on their hands. And.... WE pay for it.

I swear I bought NAPA silicone brake fluid years ago,and it was tinted blue. And reading that,ALL brake fluid should be clear or amber.

I use Rain-X washer fluid. It's orange. I was going to use the ATE blue stuff for my first fluid change next year. But, even before this article I decided to stick with DOT3 and not mix in DOT4.

For sure!

If e don't put a stop to it, we will become another bureaucratic nightmare like Britain.

I don't think anyone bought SuperBlue because it was miles ahead of any other "performance" brake fluid. We bought it because it made flushing a piece of cake.

The governments intervention on this is obviously to protect the motoring public from improper lubricants as we all know brake fluid and automatic transmission fluid simply do not belong together in the crankcase of an internal combustion engine. Friends, think of the dangers - simply combine a quart of your favorite red automatic transmission fluid and some Super Blue and "viola!" a quart of "Royal Purple" is born. I consider myself blessed to live in a country with such a protective government.

Can they step in and make everyone run the same antifreeze again? Life was great not too long ago.

Act now before government gets mired in bureaucracy! If that happens we could see a gridlocked government who’s only goal is to distract the voting public with divisive sociopolitical issues in the hope the public will never notice how wholly ineffectual their elected representatives have been at solving the real issues that affect the entire populous. I just hope we aren’t too late!

I guess if your tracking or something where you would change your fluid in a very short interval the blue would be helpful. Even changing once a year It's pretty easy to see old vs new fluid for me. I have run ATE gold in several vehicles but have never felt the need for the blue. Having said that, it is darn right silly to make them pull the product after so many years. They will probably relabel all the bottles with non-DOT Track use only and bump the price. Mod/Tuner/ricer crowd would buy even more. Wonder what cans of ATE blue are going for on Ebay now??

They're MUCH too busy trying with all their might to put fixed income seniors dying from sickness and starvation, out on the streets to be bothered with this.

Maybe some bureaucrat finally realized just how many individual states (NOT all of them bright blue, 'socialist', lefty-libby, 'big gummint' either!!) are willing to fail their drivers at inspection for having this stuff in their brake reservoirs??
