ARX long term cleaning in Transmission.?

Can arx be used longer than the given 1500 miles cleaning cycle in an auto trans? my truck uses dodge atf-4 (syn) and im about 5,000miles out from a full service and flush. will it hurt anything by adding the arx dose now?

Please go to www.auto-rx.net and read the application for "Transmissions" it is not 1500 miles.

Auto-Rx will not hurt anything there are no solvents or petroluem chemistry.

not to be rude frank as i kno your the one with the knowledge but the site says 1000-1500 and thats what where i got the 1500...

Just to let you know, I used Auto-RX for +4,500 miles in mine, because I was using it in conjunction with Amsoil ATF (Frank even recommended extending to 2,000 miles).

I flushed the fluid last weekend with the newer Amsoil ATF (Dexron VI/Mercon SP recommended spec). I flushed through two gallons of Super Tech DexronIII/Mercon to help dilute the debris and left over fluid. I then flushed through 3 gallons of Amsoil ATF and had to add 3.5 more to bring it to full. 15.5 quarts of Amsoil ATF were used.

I'm installing an inline filter (B&M) so I'll end up adding about another quart of ATF. Look for pictures in the filter section, hopefully this will be within the next weekend or so.

After I'm done with the engine cleaning, I'll post a full (engine, transmission, power steering) Auto-RX review, so that should be posted later in the year.
