Anyone do a trans flush on a 2014 Ford Fusion using Trans line?

I have seen many videos on a drain and fill but none on a full exchange by using the transmission line. Anyone know how this is done?

I would prefer to put all new fluid in it and not just half.

How do you fill it? Is there a tube or do you have a plug in the side?

My Jeep had a tube and I used an oil extractor. Took 3 quarts out, put 3 in. Drive around the block. Do it 2 more times - fluid looked good as new. And that Jeep Liberty had no transmission issues in the 220,000 miles I had it with some camper towing thrown in - not bad at all considering the bad rep the trans had.

No pulling a line and running engine to pump fluid out and refill as you go eh?

Fill tube on top. Drain plug on bottom. However I was hoping to do all fluid at one time.

I have a 2014 Fusion and just do a drain and fill once per year during an oil change.
It's at 121k and no issues

What I do is pull the top trans line going into radiator. Put tubes on each end, line and radiator. I run the engine and let 3 quarts come out. I then put 3 quarts in through the line that did not have fluid stream out. Do this until what comes out is the same color as the new oil. Usually takes 11 or 12 quarts.

Drain the transmission and refill. Exact amount. Pull a tran line and connect clear tubing to the tran line and lead into a calibrated drain bucket.

Start engine and run out 3 Qts. Add 3 Qts. Repeat until you have added the full capacity + 1 QT.

Amsoil website lists capacity.

You should be able to do 3 QTs at a clip. Maybe 2, maybe 4. Look in clear tubing for bubbles.

You may need to have engine in N for it's transmission fluid pump to work.

Why not add fluid thru the fill hole on top? Or does your year not have that fill hole?

I would probably have to pull from cooler end. Was curious if the top or bottom one made a difference?

If this is a 6F35 then it's thermostatically controlled if you want to go through the cooler line. Your best bet is to drain and fill IMO if you want to DIY

I have a 2013 fusion for my wife, I just do drain and fills. To make sure the fluid level is correct the transmission must be at full temperature. There is a small pipe plug above the LF axle. Remove it and let fluid out until it's a trickle.

Yes, that's more than sufficient.
