Wouldn't it be something to walk around that lot, trying to decide which one. And then walking away because they wouldn't come down $100 to meet your offer on the one you picked. 😳
 
thats probably over a million dollars of inventory maybe even two million ! can't imagine what the kr 500 is worth today with 5500 mile on the clock
 
Another consideration, Leaded Premium Fuel in 1970 had average price of 38.9 per gallon. Assuming 1970 given that these are used cars and are within a couple years of new.
 
Gang, I did a little ciphering with help from an ROI calculator. Using the 1967 Corvette as advertised at 3595, and figuring an average price today of $127,000, the ROI on that purchase comes out to about 7.1% per year......which I think is close to the same return of the stock market in some similar periods. I would have thought that the return would have been higher than that, but I guess over the long haul of prices and average cost of living it is in line with average paper investment returns.......who knew.
