I have some ARX that I bought for my old car, but now have a new vehicle and was wondering if there is a use for ARX in it. Would it increase lubricity during break-in, keep break-in materials from gumming-up or anything?

my gut tells me that LC20 would be more appropriot for use in a new car- to keep the engine healthy in the long run... with occassional maintanence doses of arx thrown in the mix, and maybe a clean/rinse cycle every 50,000 or so with arx. I think that's what I would be doing if I could afford a new car.

Ask Frank about what ARX can do with a new engine. You'll be surprised at what he'll tell you.

Okay, I'll bite...Ive got a car with 50k on it and dont feel/think Id get too many benifits running ARX in a motor thats ran M1 since the second oil change...unless of course its gonna cure my spark knock.

I think Auto-RX makes a lot of sense with a new car or truck. One bottle would last for four oil changes if you have a car or truck that uses four or five quarts of oil. Two vehicles would require two bottles per year. A maintenance dose is three ounces. Keep up with the maintenance doses and maybe you would never require a cleaning using an entire bottle or two bottles.

Value of using Auto-Rx as a 3 ounce maintenace dose in new or low mileage cars (under 25000 miles) you will keep engine clean reduce wear and keep current performance levels. No need for any oil additives use your oil brand and viscosity and drive on. Every time you change oil do 3 ounces again. Your burning clean and we all thank you.

My thinking is that the way ARX works, it'll help isolate debris and transport them to the filter.

I put 3oz in while still on the dealer lot w/ only 4 miles on the car. Hardcore BitOG! I was not clear in my original question, but my question was directed more toward break-in benefits rather than keeping the engine clean. I have some confidence that ARX will be a benefit, or I would not have added it. I'm using it just for break-in, I don't plan on using it other than occasional light cleaning about every 30k.
