Any REUBEN SANDWICH fans?

Hello and how many of you folks like a fresh made reuben sandwich? I like mine maid with fresh corn beef and homemade sauerkraut any day of the week.

I love them. The key is broiling the cheese on top of the corned beef so it's all melty and gooey.

My wife's family loves them and will have battles over whether Izzy's is better or some other place.

I love them, but must limit myself since I'd weight 300# if I indulged in them often.

It's hard to eat 1/2 and then save the other 1/2 for later.

I'm quite fond of both the traditional reuben, and the "Cape Cod" reuben: breaded haddock topped with cole slaw, thousand island dressing, and Swiss cheese, on rye.

Love 'em. Good rye bread from a bakery and real Swiss are the key for me.

A good homemade 1000 island dressing, some marinated sauerkraut, and tender corned beef are all musts. Like Drew I also broil the cheese on top to melt the cheese. If the reuben isn't slightly messy then its not a good one!

Where I come from, a Reuben must also include HORSERADISH!

LOL I love Reubens they are my favorite smamich. It is how I judge a restaurant. The best local place is a Mexican restaurant. I'm sure it's a heart attack special but delicious.

I have some corn beef in the fridge ready to cook for after Christmas.

Went to his new café here in Venice FL for lunch last week. Real food! Oven roasted corned beef, homemade [censored], dressing etc. Sweet potato fries too.
Yeah, obligatory shirt dribble. The old go to Ruben joint is now so obsolete.
