Any new VOA’s of PP EURO L 5w30?

You're very welcome .

That said, it is very good oil. GTL base oil, plus Infineum add pack. I forget the add pack number right now, however, the add pack itself can be A40 approved if blended in a 0/5W-40 motor oil. It also passes the MB 229.52 engine test requirements, but Shell never bothered to get that approval, they only got MB 229.51 officially. However, the add pack is mature by now, and Infineum has constantly updated it to keep up with the European OEM approvals. This oil is the same as Shell Helix Ultra ECT C3 5W-30. It will work fine in pretty much any gasoline application and light duty Diesel engines.

Did you check the VOA Database? I’m pretty sure I did a VOA on this oil more recent then that.

PP Euro L 5W30 VOA

Taken from a freshly shaken, then opened 5qt jug. Jug is dated October 2021, so it was on the shelf a year before I bought it. Viscosity is spec'd at 12.5 so this actually came in a little thin at 11.92. Nice approvals: General Motors dexos2™ (license GB2E1104014) MB-Approval 229.31/229.51 BMW...

For those that only want / need the SN spec, this Euro L VOA works great.

Same exact oil. By the way, Dexos 2 will be discontinued in 2025, that is why the language changed on the PDS to "meets requirements of GM Dexos 2."
