Any interest in VOA of these?
OK, I'll send it for analysis then. I'm going to use ALS on these as B-S is too slow.I'm in dreamland...Yes please!
Thought about using that CK-4 &, if so, could add it to the list.
It seems like a fine oil for any Diesel or SN required, right? I'm going to run it in my forklift. Pretty hard to beat for the money.Wow! Look at all that Zinc & Phosphorus! I've just seen used analysis of this oil. This blue bottle is a different than the previous red I ran. I will add it to the list in the morning. I certainly appreciate you doing this as this oil is or at least was quite a bargain from WalMart. EDIT: just checked & it's $64.95 currently for 5 gallons of this stuff!

Here's an old one I've seen (UOA)

Here's my UOA of this oil that I ran fairly recently & you can see the differences like the low Magnesium & others. It came in a red 5 gallon bucket but I seen that they switched over to a blue jug now for this T700.

Right, It is good oil. I'd run it again w/little reservations. HTHS shows 3.85. It used to show they used, at least some, Group III on one of their sites. It seems like a fine oil for any Diesel or SN required, right? I'm going to run it in my forklift. Pretty hard to beat for the money.
Would you prefer an ALS retest or from someone else?Wonder what a re-test would show?
Yeah, If it's no trouble to have ALS retest it. Sending it to another lab would create lab variance.Would you prefer an ALS retest or from someone else?
I think I'll send to Atlanta.Yeah, If it's no trouble to have ALS retest it. Sending it to another lab would create lab variance.
Awesome! Let us know how it goes.I think I'll send to Atlanta.

I sent it off today; it will be there Tuesday so I'd imagine by weeks end we will have a result.Awesome! Let us know how it goes.
At least it's not an entirely different company lab & I'm curious to know the second results.I sent it off today; it will be there Tuesday so I'd imagine by weeks end we will have a result.
Thanks! This one is more in line with what you'd expect on an HDEO VOA & believe the first one was wildly high. The fact it shot up to the highest add pack on the list & the amounts had me suspicious it was not right so I mentioned to retest. I really appreciate you re-testing this oil & I've used the re-test to display in the HDEO VOA List. ALS seemed to be really quick though.@fantastic here is the retest from the ATL Lab
I have sent a message to ALS regarding the discrepancy; I'm curious to see what they will say. Thanks! PPM counts are far less informational about how “well” an oil will perform, compared to what approvals & certifications that oil actually carries. Thanks!! It is in the #1 spot for the highest additive package on the list now.
Yeah, It will be interesting to hear their explanation.I have sent a message to ALS regarding the discrepancy; I'm curious to see what they will say.
Again, I've mentioned to you, several times now, that I organize the HDEO list w/additive amounts. I don't organize them by approvals, I organize them by what the VOA's show. Approvals are something you or anyone else can figure out on your own. ThanksPPM counts are far less informational about how “well” an oil will perform, compared to what approvals & certifications that oil actually carries.
Given two oils with identical approvals & certifications, there will be no statistical difference in performance regardless of additive level differences.
