We just got 2 cases of this oil in at the grocery store I work at as a new item. We have 5W-20 & 5w30. Don't know the price of it yet but the synthetic blend Warren we have already been carrying for several years is $2.99 qt. Just wondering if anyone has used it before with good results. If it gets priced decent I may try some of it.

Viscosity @ 40ºC, cSt, ASTM D445 is almost 66 and that's on the heavy / thick side for startup with a 5w30 at 104*F. or 40*C. Most 5w30's are in the 55 - 59 range (with 58 being close to average).

Conversely, viscosity @ 100ºC, cSt, (ASTM D445) at 11.4 is good.

Figures are higher with PQI's testing than published from Warren.

Falls into API SN spec's, good NOACK. I would use it in the summer maybe but skip it in the winter. I personally would use a major brand conventional before this stuff. What are you running it in? QSUD can be had for a buck more per qt and is a great lube at a great price.

If I were to try it it would probably be in my F-150 in 5W-20. But I'm not too sure what kind of price it will have. I have 6 qts of Ultra left that either the truck will get or will be used in my Civic again.
