Another T-stat Question?

Hardly a Honda Oem only guy for fluids and sometimes parts, however agree that when it comes to t'stat OEM is best. Normally I've been able to negotiate a bit with local dealer based on prices listed at online Honda Part sites, ymmv on that.

Make sure to install the jiggle pin at the 12 o'clock.

Thanks Sayjac, I always appreciate your valuable advice. Dealers in my area are usually NON-Negotiable, unfortunately.

I know it hurts to spend more, but I didn't want to compromise on T-stat. Although I almost bought Aisin T-stat from ROA.

But OEM would be better and safe, plus it'll last longer than the car - hopefully...
 
Yes, replaced with an OEM and definitely happy!!!

No more CEL and all is well, drove nearly 15-20 miles after clearing the light and all is well.
