As mentioned.....oil can be a bit more expensive in Canada, as can shipping.
I do find, here in the USA, that ordering oil by the case helps with the per quart shipping cost.
However, you will need to compare for shipping to your particular location.
You may have a Amsoil dealer near you that can help also.
Or, if you go together with someone else and order your oil together.
One thing that comes up with Redline, that might apply here also......(particularly if the SSO line has a POE base stock).
The FIRST run of the oil, when switching from another brand/type may not yeild you the best results in oil analysis.
I have read that Redline needs a couple of Oil Change Intervals before the results settle down......as the first and even 2nd fill are doing some cleaning, which may make the analysis in those look less impressive than they really are.
This may or may not apply with Amsoil SSO, but I'm thinking that it may.
I'm not a extended OCI person, but I would shy away from going too long without an oil analysis.
Also.....make sure that you pick a good solid filter.
Another option is to change the oil filter part way through (if that is do-able without too much problem).
I am not familiar with your particular vehicle.
While I suggest looking into ways to get the best price for your choice of oil, one needs to compare the cost of taking the vehicle to a shop and having a oil change done using a top shelf synthetic oil, in your particular market (more $$ in some areas than others).
I like to make that comparison......how much does it cost to have the work done, using good products.......vs doing it myself and using better products.
It helps to put things into perspective.
While I don't use Amsoil, I would certainly trust their product.
As long as it is the correct viscosity as called for in your application......it is a great choice.
